Teams Involved: Western Albemarle / Christiansburg / Phoebus
Favorite: Joe Hawkes (Western Albemarle)
Insight: Western Albemarle, Christiansburg, and Phoebus are in for quite the team battle this year. Though Phoebus does not have anyone entered in the event, they are very much affected by this race. Western Albemarle on the other hand has four guys seeded in the top eight. Christiansburg's Nate Leichner, seeded fourth, has the greatest chance of nearly any athlete this entire week to decide a state title's director if he were to win this event.
