Field Events
Virginia should also have quite a few shots at winning a field event title this weekend too. The two biggest chances we will have are with Gennifer Hirata in the pole vault and Mason Henry in the triple jump. Both athletes rank nationally and also have been very consistent this season. That being the biggest difference maker at NBIN where few athletes PR.
In the other jumps we have Frank Royal in the LJ, Sydney Banks in the HJ, Taylor Beard in the HJ, and Natalie Barnes in the LJ. All athletes have the ability and consistency to make the finals or the final heights and will win a title if they can just get one huge jump in.
