Junior Sam Rodman (Liberty-Bealeton) just made it a perfect five for five in the 1K at Liberty's track this season. He closed out the season with his third sub 2:30 clocking in the five lap race, this time his time was 2:29.25.
Rodman is making quite a name for himself in the 1K distance. He led the nation early on and took home not only a state title against some strong Loudoun Valley boys but also won the stacked 1K at the VA Showcase. It was there that he ran his season and personal best of 2:28.49.
Sam took home victories at the Liberty Xmas Invite, VA Commonwealth Games, Bulldog Invitational VA Showcase, and now Class 4 States.
