Boys Mile Run
There are many events in track & field that are awesome to watch and see records get broken. One though stands above the rest and that is the mile and the four minute barrier. This year it looks like that barrier could be broken at the VA Showcase.
Highlighting the current entries in this event is Rheinhardt Harrison (FL) who is a junior and already has run 4:01.34.
This will be his first indoor meet ever and after running 4:01 and 4:02 this summer is primed to not only break four but chase Drew Hunter's record of 3:57.81.
Meet management has sent invitations to a few club athletes, who if they entered, would be right there with Harrison throughout the race. The top returning finisher from last year is entered as well, Xavier Jemison.
