The 2016 installment of the Virginia Tech Invitational is going to be huge! Nearly every single event is stacked with state champions and even national record holders. From top to bottom this is going to be a huge meet and you can basically say good bye to the entire state leaderboard after this event.

You can stack every single event in a meet and it be great but what makes a legendary meet that you will always remember is one with great relays. This meet will definitely be one to remember when it comes to relays. Every single relay features not only the best in Virginia but teams that could actually sweep the national championships in two months.

McKinley McNeill (Parkland) used the banked curves to run 1:14.04 last year, and she has a legitimate shot at the all-time state record this weekend

Watch Riverdale Baptist junior Stephanie Davis win the girls 300 meter dash at the Virginia Tech Premier Invitational out of the second fastest heat with a US #14 39.78 clocking. Her first sub 40 clocking as she took advantage of a rare opportunity to race on a banked track.
