Despite the lack of official results for hours after the meet, anyone there and basically anyone in the state knew this classification had some fast times. After both days of competition that was only solidified further that this classification had some of the most impressive and historically significant times of any state meet. 3A Boy’s
While other divisions may have been deeper, there is no debate as to where the best individual male distance runners were competing this weekend. Over the course of two days in Harrisonburg this weekend, Derek Holdsworth, Andrew Hunter, and Kenneth Hagen put on a display we won’t soon forget.
