Flashback: 7 Story Lines, 7 Predictions, and 7 Must-See Races

#4 The Beginning of A Loudoun Valley Dynasty

Following that line of prediction from the previous slide, Loudoun Valley looks good... well great really. The Vikings are here to win and it looks like to stay as well.

They lost Drew Hunter from their boys' team and Ciara Donohue two years ago who was a Foot Locker finalist. Despite these losses, the team has grown in size and talent year after year and it seems this year they all have really bought in.

On the boys' side of things LV is just too good. No one can catch them in the entire state of Virginia and the crazy thing is their entire top five returns in 2017. If that wasn't enough, 7 of their top 8 also return next year.

This is really the beginning of a dynasty because even if they lose a lot of talent in two years, the trend shows them to just keep winning with more young talent coming in. It is going to take a very powerful team to knock them off before 2018.

Their girls team is almost as good too. They return six of their top 7 next year and have quite a few excellent freshmen this season already performing at a high level. It looks like they could very likely sweep the 4A team titles the next two years.
