The 18th Annual Gar-Field Indian Track and Field Invitational



State of the art track and field facility with an eight lane all weather surface track, and a compact and accessible field events venue.

Spectator friendly field events site where ALL field events can be viewed from a single location.

All weather surfaces for our dual jump pits and adjacent pole vault facility and high jump apron enable the athlete to simultaneously compete in multiple events. Shot put and discus sites within one-hundred feet of each other.

SATs: Gar-Field High School offers the SAT on 5 May 2018. Have your runners register and sit for the SAT at G-F and still be able to compete at one of Northern Virginia's premier track and field facilities!

Teams: Limited to 20 boys and 20 girls teams. Individual team relays and entries are accepted.

Sanctioning: This meet is sanctioned by VHSL and National Federation Rules



Entry Fee:

Complete teams:$250 per school (Boys and Girls) or $150 for a single gender.



Smaller schools or those who wish to just enterlimited athletes: Individual relays: $20 each.Individual entries:$5 per person per event.

Entry Limits:Schools are allowed 1 entry per relay and 3 entries per individual events.

New for 2018: Coaches my select one "Bonus Event" and enter up to FIVE competitors in that event.

Scoring Change

Scoring will be traditional with each school allowed to score multiple competitors rather than a combination of the two top competitors in an event.

Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1.

Awards: Trophies will be awarded to first and second place teams. Plaques will be awarded to Most Outstanding Field Performer and Runner. Medals given to top 6 individual place winner and the top 4 relay teams.

Timing: Dan Ward and Mark Form & Co. will be providing the F.A.T. Timing System for the meet.
