    ALL FIELD EVENTS and the 4x 800m Relay(s) ARE ON WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 16, 2022 at Osbourn Park High School, Manassas, VA

    REMAINING RUNNING EVENTS ARE ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 17, 2022 at Gainesville High School, Gainesville, VA (Pending weather.)

    MEET MANAGEMENT IS REVIEWING BEST WEATHER DATES FOR COMPETITION.

    1.0 Qualifying for theRegion B Championship Meet

    1.1 The top (6) individuals and the top (3) relays from each district advance to the Region B Meet. Athletes who meet the Region B or Class 6 standard also qualify for the Region B Championship. All entries must have a mark. . Ties for 3rd place will advance to the Class 6 State Championship

    PERFORMANCES ATTAINED IN CLUB SANCTIONED MEETS ARE NOT PERMITTED. If a club sanctioned meet performance is used; they will be deleted from entry. It is the coach's responsibility to ensure that all entries are accurate, verified and meet VHSL requirements.

    2.0 Entering the Region B Championship Meet

    2.1 All entries will be done on milestat.Please make sure your rosters are up-to-date and names are spelled correctly.

    2.2 Meet Password: REGB22

    2.3 ENTRIES MUST BE COMPLETED BY SUNDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2022 BY 6:00pm

    After this timeentries will be closed. Please, make sure your District Meet resultshave been posted on milestat before you do your entries.

    2.4 THERE IS NO STRATCH MEETING.YOUR ENTRIES ARE DECLARED ONCE THE DEADLINE CLOSES.ENTER THIS CHAMPIONSHIP SO THAT YOUR ENTRIESARE LEGAL.

    2.6 THE SEEDED MEET PROGRAM WILL BE POSTED ON Tuesday February 15 2022 by10:00pm.

    2.7The Declaration Rule is in effect. For example; you may enter an athlete in the 55m, 300m, and 4x 400m, if you scratch the athlete from the 300m they may still run the 4 x 400m but you cannot add them to another event. If you are un-sure please contact me. However, if you enter an athlete in 4 running events plan on scratching during the meet that will not work and the athlete will be deleted from the last events.

    2.8 Rules: 2020 edition National Federation Rule Book and the 2021-22 edition of VHSL Handbook

    2.9 Fill out all slots for your relays and on your relay cards.

    2.10 Scoring:10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

    3.0 Qualifying for the Class 6 State Championship Meet

    3.1 The top (3) individuals and the top (3) relays and auto qualifiers qualify for the Class 6 StateChampionship Meet on February 25-26, 2022 @ VA Beach Sports Center1045 19th Street VA-B,VA 23451

    3.2 Please follow the guidelines for entering you athletes in the State Meet.

    3.3 Dave Davis and Mike Feldman will verify state meet entries.

    4.0 Meet Management

    Long Jump: Forest Park and Unity Reed

    Triple Jump: Gar-Field and Osbourn

    Shot Put: Hylton and Potomac

    Relay Umpires: Freedom-WB, Battlefield. Freedom-South Riding,

    Awards: Battlefield, Freedom-SR, Colonial Forge
    (2) per school; put medals in envelopers

    Check-In: Gainesville, Osbourn Park and Patriot

    5.0 Awards:

    5.1 Championship Trophy and Runner-Up per gender

    5.2 Medals for the top three (3) Individuals and top three (3) Relays

    Championship Patches awarded to theChampion Team.

    Award envelopes can be picked up at the conclusion of the meet

    Coaches' Meeting:11:15am

    Round 1 of Field Events: 12:00 NOON Round 2 begins 30 minutes after 1st round is completed.

    Horizontal Jumps and Throws: (3) attempts in the trials; Top 9 advance to the finals for (3) more attempts.

    Girls' Long Jump followed by Girls' Triple Jump

    Boys' Long Jump followed by Boys' Triple Jump

    Girls' Shot Put followed by Boys Shot Put

    Girls' High Jump (Opening HT4-08.00) followed by Boy's High Jump (Opening HT 5-08.00)

    Bar will advance 2" until (2) competitors remain in the field.

    Girls Pole Vault (OP-HT: 7-09.00)followed byPole Vault (OP-HT 10-06.00)

    Bar will advance 6" until (2) competitors remain in the field.
