Despite a herculean effort by the distance corps, William and Mary men\'s track and field could not hold onto its day one lead and finished fourth at the CAA Championship. With nearly the entire throwing corps redshirting the outdoor season, the Tribe spotted too many points to its opponents and ended the Championship in fourth with 132 points. UNC-Wilmington won the title with 218.50 points, ahead of second-place Virginia Commonwealth (172) and George Mason (140). Three-time All-American Ed Moran (Dayton, NJ) [5,000m], senior Adam Otstot (Richmond, VA) [3,000m steeplechase] and senior Pat Comstock (Portsmouth, VA) [10,000m] all won individual titles on Friday evening as Otstot and Moran earned qualifications to the NCAA Regional meet while Comstock set a CAA meet record with his winning time of 30:44.22.
