Coverage
The annual policy of meet management for the St. Christopher's Indoor Track & Field Invitational is to not post a public performance list with entry times and seeding (however will post and release an entry list for each event w/o seed times & marks later this week), but MileStat.com can still post a virtual meet preview based on the list of teams entered in the meet and season best performances of top athletes and relays from all the schools slated to attend that could potentially be entered and competing in each event. The virtual meet preview does not reflect who actually is entered in which event as will be seen when the entry list is released later in the week.
Event entries lists ranked in order of seeding (performance list w/o seed times & marks) for this weekend's St. Christopher's Invitational in Richmond. MileStat.com will be on-site with both photo and video coverage.
Coverage, information, results and highlights of national caliber performances from major high school indoor track & field meets in the South region states of the United States during the week ending on Sunday, January 26th, 2014.
Despite this week's very mild snow fall in Virginia, this weekend's St. Christopher's Invitational is on as scheduled for both days. Good news for the 50 schools planning to attend, but not so much good news for the local schools entered in at least for Friday's events.
All race videos are now uploaded from this past weekend's St. Christopher's Invitational with the majority of photos also posted from the meet. Saturday saw two thrilling finishes in the fast sections of the boys 1600 and 1000 meter races with only a hundredth of a second separating boys 1600 winner Matthew Novak of Deep Run at 4:18.89 and 1600 runner-up Nick Causey of Osbourn Park at 4:18.90, while the difference was even more narrow determining first place in the boys 1000 between Clover Hill's Josh Willard and Albemarle's Ryan Thomas both timed at 2:32.01, but Willard being declared the race winner as thousandths of a second by the F.A.T. camera.
