If the current weather forecasts holds up for Saturday\'s VHSL State Meet, it will be a perfect day for cross country. Light wind, sunny skies and a high of 50 will set the stage for the season pinnacle for the state\'s best teams and individuals. This year\'s state meet will once again be held at Great Meadows just outside of the city of Warrenton. Not only will state titles be on the line Saturday, but as well as Nike Team Nationals bids.
There has been much debates, predictions, and speculations on message boards, lunch rooms, practice fields, and schools regarding which individuals and teams will be declared State Cross-Country Champions in AA on Saturday November 13, 2004 at The Great Meadows State Course in The Plains. After this week, the speculation will be over and champions will be known. The girls are scheduled to begin at 1:00 with the guys following at 1:45.
