Harrison and O'Neil break meet records

HARRISONBURG, VA -- Two meet records went down at the Eastern Mennonite Invitational on the Peak View Elementary/Burtner Farm 5K course as Stuarts Draft's Brad O'Neil won the boys' race in a time of 16:56 and Warren County's Emily Harrison won the girls' race for the second consecutive year in a time of 19:10. The Fort Defiance boys dominated the team title by placing 6 runners in the top 13 for a total score of 29 points. Harrisonburg was the team winner on the girls' side with 72 points.
